1/17/2024 0 Comments Warframe star chart 3.0My understanding is, that the 250-350 nodes, that only, 5% are used, will be reduced to ~12-20.Īs for the older 1.0 style, I would have preferred it be an optional alternate view, not a full replacement. What will Star Chart 3.0 do for us, the players? Will it solve the game's core problems? Or will DE just ignore this opportunity and add more pointless content while the game continues to rot away from the inside?1. Even if things like rewards and affinity seem normalized people will still find the one node with a specific tileset and a specific faction that makes it easy to rack up plenty of loot and affinity more easily than other nodes. They'll likely fix Sechura/Draco but farms will always exsist. The only way I can see them working on this with the update is to add in t1-3 Interception while they're at it and/or working on the Derelict as well (although admittedly the Derelict needs an update focused entirely on itself, imo). This is a starchart rework not a drop/rng rework. An uncommon/rare spawning enemy will still remain uncommon/rare uncommon/rare drops will also remain uncommon/rare. I don't see how any node/chart change can reduce rng/grind. Literally a good 90% of the nodes we have now are empty for pubs the vast majority of the time, the new chart is meant to fix that. The entire point that I've heard them going on about was to condense the playerbase to be actually playing on the avalable nodes. What will Star Chart 3.0 do for us, the players? Will it solve the game's core problems? Or will DE just ignore this opportunity and add more pointless content while the game continues to rot away from the inside? Edited Jby 4G3NT_0R4NG3 I would like to know if DE will make use of this opportunity or not. Star Chart 3.0 has the potential to fix two of Warframe's massive underlying problems: grinding spots and RNG. What I'm really hoping for is some kind of solid information on what Star Chart 3.0 will actually do to benefit the game, since much of this is based on speculation. The devs want Sechura and Draco to not be the only two missions in the entire star chart. The devs want to reduce RNG by doing things such as moving prime parts out of the Void.ģ. Currently, much of Warframe's grind comes from having to deal with ludicrous RNG. Most players vastly preferred the Star Chart 1.0 mission selection screen to our current Star Chart 2.0 one, and the devs hope to bring back the old layout.Ģ. Currently, I see three possibilities for how the devs want Star chart 3.0 to benefit the game:ġ. Although we've only seen rudimentary prototypes of Star Chart 3.0, we can form a decent idea of what the developers hope it will accomplish.
